One of Slavonic’s series of collisions with Germany for forty years, from the birth of the BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle in 1966 to the advent of the “weasel” infantry combat vehicle in 1968, so far the world’s army equipment and tactics have taken place Earth-shaking changes. However, no one dared to question the development of an infantry combat vehicle has just begun when people keep asking whether a tank still needs to survive. Here we write a series of articles entitled “The Slavic-German Crash,” aiming to restore the evolution of the world’s surface weapons in the past 40 years through the evolution of infantry fighting vehicles in the Soviet Union and Germany.
