In the face of the dawn of the new century, we have ushered in the 80th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. 80 years ago, the majority of patriotic youth set off a magnificent patriotic movement. The fate of the Chinese nation has since witnessed a historic turning point. Over the past 80 years, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, generations after generation of Chinese youth have been carrying forward the spirit of “patriotism, progress, democracy and science” of the May 4 Movement so as to revitalize China.
