Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of dopamine and dobutamine on neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Methods Sixty children with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy were randomly divided into two groups: 30 in the dopamine and dobutamine treatment groups and 30 in the conventional treatment group (control group). The clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed. Results The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 96.67% and 76.67%, respectively, with significant difference between the two groups (P <0.01). Conclusion The treatment of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy combined with dopamine and dobutamine can reduce the degree of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage and improve the cure rate of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
