This article focuses on some unexpected secondary products of poetry movement and poetry system from the perspective of sociology (rather than formalism). By reflecting on the three difficult poems currently facing American poetry - conceptual poetry, post-literary mini-poetry and populist poetry, this article finds that what we are facing before us is a restriction on the basic paradigm: the integrity of the works of individual poets Advantages of Using Works and Historical Methods to Investigate Works. The situation we face is the paradox of the paradigm shift in matters relating to population structure. At present, there are so many poets who make widely published works that we are unable to follow them. This also poses another new challenge: they are all following each other and may completely lose their sense of history, but the present feeling is elevated to an unimaginable High, but this may make history disappear. How to value history, respect history, find history without falling into the old paradigm set by a few big-name figures? This is precisely what the article attempts to answer.
