在初中英语教学中很多老师简单将英语学习等同于机械记忆,认为只要多读、多背就完成了英语教学任务。从而,重词汇与语法,轻阅读与写作,特别缺乏思维方法的指导与学习。而笔者认为初中正是学生思维发展的关键期,英语教学在语言教学中必须要有意识的进行思维训练,从而提升学生适应未来生活的能力。一个没有意识去发现与质问的学生,无从谈起批判性思维。因此,激发学生发现与质问是培养学生批判性思维的关键点。笔者在观摩同行英语教学和自己教学实践中做一些有益的尝试,认为采用以下三个策略有利于激发学生发现与质问,有利于培养学生批判性思维品质。
Many teachers in junior high school English teaching simply equate English learning with mechanical memory, that as long as more time to read, more back to complete the task of English teaching. Thus, the heavy vocabulary and grammar, light reading and writing, especially the lack of guidance and learning thinking. However, I think junior high school is the key period for the development of students ’thinking. English teaching must have conscious thinking training in language teaching so as to enhance students’ abilities to adapt to future life. A student who does not have the awareness to find out and ask questions can not talk about critical thinking. Therefore, to stimulate student discovery and questioning is the key point to train students’ critical thinking. I do some useful attempts to observe peer teaching in English and my own teaching practice. I think the following three strategies are helpful to arouse students ’discovery and questioning, and help to develop students’ critical thinking quality.
