One night after the Spring Festival in 1928, Guo Liang, member of the Central Committee, the special commissioner of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi border area, was enthusiastically writing in a not-so-noticeable cottage in the Hanlin Street (now Guo Liang Street) in Yueyang City work report. When he added some oil to the small oil lamp, he fought the stingy flower and shone the wick ... At this moment, the enemy broke into the room. After the liberation, some people asked Guo Liang’s son, Guo Zhicheng, who worked in the Electric Power Construction Bureau of the former Ministry of Electric Power: “Why do you want to learn electricity?” He said: “Lenin once said that electrification of the Soviets is communism. The legacy of building communism in China, I was engaged in electric power. ”
