白石水库是辽宁省西部干旱地区大凌河干流上的一座大型水库，是继观音阁工程之后修建的第二座ＲＣＤ碾压混凝土重力坝。根据大凌河多泥沙的特点，在底孔表面采用了耐磨蚀的硅粉混凝土新材料，应用了油压启闭机新技术，在大坝下游折坡处用弧型连接，对水工建筑物等亦作了特殊布置。
Whitehead Reservoir is a large reservoir on the main Daling River in the arid region of western Liaoning Province. It is the second RCD RCC gravity dam built after Guanyinge project. According to the characteristics of sediment in the Daling River, a new material resistant to abrasion of silica fume concrete is used on the surface of the bottom hole. A new hydraulic hoist technology is used, which is connected by arc at the downstream slope of the dam. Construction and other buildings also made a special arrangement.
