时效性是新闻的专业术语,它的含意有两层:一层是新闻要及时,意指新闻根据一旦成立——有了新闻由头,即予以报道;另一层是新闻要讲究宣传策略,意指根据宣传目的或现实的需要,寻求最好的社会报道效果,该压稿时必须压稿,不能一味求快。这两方面因素在实际应用中已潜移默化为记者和编辑的自觉行动,做得较好。现在,笔者在此要说的是另一种时效性——策划编排。
Timeliness is the jargon of journalism.
