新闻现场直播，历史上曾叫过新闻现场实况转播。上世纪80年代初，广电部一位领导同志提出，“转播”一词用在这里不合适，因为它不是别人播了，我“转”出去。于是，打那以后，广播界逐步统一叫新闻现场直播了。这是一种便于发挥广播快速传播优势的好形式。近几年，各台对这种形式越来越重视，但真正作得优秀的并不多。一、新闻现场直播的界定广播中的新闻现场直播，是广播工作者在新闻事件的现场，与新闻事件同步，边看边说边采访，直接播出的一种报道形式。这个定义是广播工作者早已明确的。但是，近些年来，我国广播界经常面对特别重大、十分复杂的新闻事件作现场直播，造成直播规模特大，直播时间过长，有时长达几十小时。这样，就出现了直播前演播室铺垫侃谈、直播中访问现场外人士的录音、与新闻事件相关的背景知识和事先作好的“片花”之类的录播段落的
