In 1980, Stokely et al [1] first applied single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) to successfully examine cerebral blood flow in patients with epilepsy. With the development of SPECT and cerebral blood flow imaging agents, SPECT has become an effective method for the localization of epilepsy.
