EL1型电力机车DLS6型电空接触器作为改变电力机车牵引电机连接方式,实现对牵引电机的调速而被使用在电力机车上。由于负载波动大,加之自身工作频繁,工作环境恶劣,使DLS6型电空接触器烧损故障成为电力机车故障的主要方面,长久以来已引起电力机车检修运用部门高度重视,加强运用维护质量分析其烧损的故障原因,并实施有效的改进,预防或减少故障次数减轻故障损失的范围,已被作为一个技术课题摆到了相关部门的日常工作中。经过采取有效地措施,绝大部分故障因控制而杜绝,故障损失也降到了最低。
