PGP Security, a division of NAI, recently announced that more than 200 universities have participated in its CyberCop.edu program. The program set up a free public server two weeks ago to help universities check their server security, whether it has a DDoS (Distributed Service Denial) vulnerability, or infiltration with the associated “Zombie” agent. CyberCop.edu is a free public service program that helps educational institutions around the world enhance their cyber security and provide CyberCop scanning software with the ability to eradicate threats of all kinds.
