数字盒式磁带DCC(digital compact cassettes)的最大优点是与现行的模拟盒式磁带ACC(analogcompact cassettes)兼容,也就是说在DCC录音机上,既可录放DCC带,也可播放传统的ACC带。当录放DCC带时,可以获得与CD、DAT相同的数字音响的性能与效果,而播放ACC带时,仍可欣赏丰富的ACC音乐软件(节目)。至于DAT(即1985年提出的数字录音机规格),则没有这种兼容性。 DCC录音机的这种兼容性,使目前广大用户拥有的大量模拟盒式磁带的节目源或音乐软件,能在DCC机上重放,因此可以说DCC是ACC的合乎逻辑的发展。一、DCC的磁带与磁头为了与模拟盒带兼容,DCC系统的磁带尺寸、运带速度以及磁头的磁迹排列(模拟部分)等都与现行的模拟盒式磁带录音机相同,它也采用固定磁头方式,而不是现已在国外上市的R-DAT的旋转磁头方式。
