刘光(1917—1946)是“中国青年运动的领袖之一”。原名为普济,乳名金娃子,参加革命后曾用名刘金修、李杏林、刘光、刘光悌,益阳县泉交河镇人。父亲运鸿(又名勋阁),是镇上开百货商店的小商人。刘光有兄弟3人,他排行第二,1923年到1924年间,在泉交河慈善堂小学读书。当大革命的风暴席卷湖南时,刘运鸿从长沙购回一批新书刊,把百货店改成新书店,并且接受了革命思想,不久加入中国共产党,担任县农民协会财务委员,“常以私财济公需”。在父亲的影响下,刘光于9岁那年参加童子团,做些为纠察队放哨和看管土豪、张贴标语等事情。
Liu Guang (1917-1946) is one of the leaders of the Chinese youth movement. Formerly known as Puji, the milk name Jin Wazi, joined the revolution after the name of Liu Jinxiu, Li Xinglin, Liu Guang, Liu Guangtao, Yiyang Ququan Town people. Yun-hung father (also known as Hoon Court), is the town opened a small department store merchants. Liu Guang has three brothers, he ranked second, from 1923 to 1924, in the Qu Jiaohe Charity Primary School. When the turmoil of the Great Revolution swept Hunan, Liu Yunhong repurchased a number of new books and magazines from Changsha, changed the department stores into new bookstores, and accepted the revolutionary ideas. He soon joined the Communist Party of China as the finance committee of the County Peasants Association, “often using private financial means need”. Under the influence of his father, Liu Guang participated in the boy regiment at the age of nine, doing some picket and guarding local tycoons, posting slogans and other things.
