In the rapid development of security monitoring industry, in the face of the tendency of video applications to gradually develop toward high resolution, high frame rate and high compression ratio, the limitations of the currently widely used H.264 video compression standard are increasingly revealed. H.265 standard revolves around the existing video coding standard H.264, retaining some of the original technology, while some of the technology to be optimized and improved. The new standard uses state-of-the-art technology to improve the relationship between codestream, code quality, latency and algorithmic complexity to optimize performance.
