近几年来,我国各类企业根据市场变化积极调整产品结构,在开发适销对路的新产品上做了大量工作,并取得了很大成就,但总的来看,换代型的少,改进型的多,开发的新产品水平高的不多。据有关部门对全国27个中心城市917户大型企业的调查分析,这些企业研制的新产品达5300种,但在“生产一代,试制一代,设计一代,构思一代”等不同层次上开发的新产品仅占15%。这种现状,严重地制约了我国工业现代化的进程,影响了我国产品在国际市场上的竞争能力。这里有多方面的原因,但新产品价格政策不力是一个重要原因,这使得:
