南方耕牛越冬一般以稻草为饲料,食用期为150～170天。双季稻产区,早稻草多用于还田或杂用,牛食用晚稻草量约占70％以上,早中稻产区,牛基本上不食用晚稻草。早稻一般不施用农药或仅施1—2次,晚稻一般施用农药为6～7次,因此,晚稻草中残留有机氯量大大超过早稻草,1983年5月我们采集锦山乡阔田大队九生产队及邻近的县农科所对头年的早、晚稻草样品送湖北省农科院农业测试中心测定,结果表明晚稻草残留六六六的总量平均为0.245ppm,早稻
