中国日渐进入老龄社会,调查数据显示,现在我国已经有6200万的独居老人,他们与子女相见次数不多。而更多在外地工作的子女,甚至一年到头都难与老人团聚。在新的法律要求下,与父母分开居住的子女,必须要经常看望和问候年老的父母,否则将被认定为违法。此举一出,一石激起千层浪,这个原本理所应当的行为竟然需要通过法律形式来实施,究竟可喜还是可悲呢?又折射出怎样的社会现状呢?
As China gradually enters the aging society, survey data show that there are already 62 million elderly people living alone in China nowadays, and their number of encounters with their children is small. And more children working in the field are hardly able to reunite with the elderly even throughout the year. Under the new law, children who live separately from their parents must regularly visit and greet their elderly parents, otherwise they will be regarded as unlawful.
