牧草机械脱水后的主产品是压制牧草和蛋白质浓缩物,挤压使大量的蛋白质和细胞内容物流失到挤汁中,牧草干物质减少。机械挤压使牧草含氮量(N)、干物质(DM)和体外干物质消化率(IVDMD)下降,中性洗涤纤维(NDF)增加。压制牧草中矿物质含量普遍下降。压制牧草NDF消化率较高,有价值的蛋白质挤汁可以有效地利用。实际上,比起试图避免雨淋而推迟收割迎受损失,机械脱水体系可以明显减少调制干草过程中造成的损失。
