气候及农业措施影响了烟叶的理化性状.在分析、参考相关研究成果的基础上,根据福建省烟叶生产季节的气候特点,提出了适时早栽、控氮,适当多留叶,提高成熟度,延长变黄和定色前期时间,后期补钾等措施对烟叶理化性状进行调控,以达到提高上部叶质量和减少上部叶比例的目的.
