在某些癌症变为慢性、终生症状的情况下,我们对癌症和癌症患者的生存需要新认识。如何学习去适应和接受这种新的局面?《柳叶刀肿瘤学》杂志近期发表了评论文章,或许能给我们一些指导。将癌症正常化的一个障碍需要是克服诊治的羞耻感。并不是说要将癌症平凡化,但是不愿意谈及癌症诊断、治疗和护理,对癌症感到害怕或羞耻会让患者和他们的医生隔离。
In the event of certain cancers becoming chronic, lifelong, we need a new understanding of cancer and the survival of cancer patients. How to learn to adapt to and accept this new situation? “Lancet Oncology” magazine recently published commentary, may give us some guidance. An obstacle to normalizing cancer is the need to overcome the stigma of treatment. It does not mean to normalize cancer, but reluctance to talk about cancer diagnosis, treatment and care, fear of cancer, or shame that isolates the patient from their doctor.
