在雷达目标识别领域中,DSP(数字信号处理器)应用面临着算法复杂多样和实时性强的双重挑战,仅靠单一处理器性能的提高仍很难全面适应,还必须在DSP系统组织结构上进行优化。本文针对雷达目标识别算法的特殊性,较详细介绍了由6片TMS320C50数字信号处理器构成的基于MIMD(多指令多数据流)结构的实时处理系统的设计原理。本系统具有小体积、低成本和工程化的特点,达到了较高的性能价格比。
In the field of radar target recognition, DSP (digital signal processor) applications are faced with the dual challenges of complex and diverse algorithms and real-time algorithms. It is still difficult to fully adapt to the single-processor performance improvement and must also be implemented in the structure of the DSP system optimize. In this paper, aiming at the particularity of radar target recognition algorithm, the design principle of a real-time processing system based on MIMD (Multi-instruction Multiple Data Stream) structure consisting of 6 TMS320C50 digital signal processors is introduced in detail. The system has a small size, low cost and engineering features, reaching a high cost performance.
