全面实施素质教育,必须是面向全体学生的教育,要使每个学生得到全面而健康地发展。如何帮助学困生摆脱困境就其个人成长来说,关系到享受教育平等问题、身心健康发展问题、家庭和谐幸福问题;对教育来说,关系到课程改革的重大战略和基础教育水平的根本大计;对国家来说,关系到劳动者的素质和综合国力的提升。然而,由于英语不同于数理化,没有系统性和严谨的逻辑性,具有单词量大,知识点繁杂,语法和时态多的特点,并且没有应用的环境,随着九年义务教育的发展,中学阶段不可避免地出现了相当一部分“学困生”。
