目前电光调制器偏置点自动控制通常采用小信号扰动法,主要应用于高速数字通信,而不适用于模拟信号传输。为此提出了一种迭代算法,通过闭环控制实现调制器最佳偏置点的锁定。从理论上分析了方法的可行性,并搭建了反馈系统。在变温环境中进行了偏置控制实验,结果表明,环境温度变化率为5℃/min时,被测调制器功率抖动小于1.5%,该方法可用于模拟信号的传输。
At present, the automatic control of electro-optic modulator bias point usually adopts the small signal perturbation method, which is mainly used for high-speed digital communications and not for analog signal transmission. To this end, an iterative algorithm is proposed to achieve the best modulator bias lock by closed-loop control. The feasibility of the method is analyzed in theory and a feedback system is set up. The bias control experiment was carried out in a variable temperature environment. The results show that the power jitter of the modulator under test is less than 1.5% when the ambient temperature rate of change is 5 ℃ / min. This method can be used for the transmission of analog signals.
