实现毫秒爆破,有赖于精确而且可靠的起爆方法,目前国内外进行毫秒爆破采用的起爆方法种类很多,归纳起来可分毫秒电雷管或继爆管及毫秒起爆器两大类。一般地说,毫秒电雷管时间间隔控制偏差较大,并且不可调节。毫秒起爆器可以按要求取得准确的间隔时间,并且在一定的范围内可以任意调节。尽管毫秒起爆器存在着起爆网路比较复杂、使用比较麻烦的缺点,但是在实际生产及试验工作上,由于毫秒时间间隔可以调节而又准确,尤其是目前国内毫秒电雷管
