目的 研究血管内皮生长因子 (vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)在鼻咽癌 (NPC)患者外周血中的表达水平与鼻咽癌临床病理特征及浸润转移之间的关系。方法 应用 Sandwich酶联免疫吸附测定法定量检测 80例无远处转移鼻咽癌、18例合并远处转移鼻咽癌及 30例健康人的血清标本中 VEGF的含量。结果 合并远处转移 NPC患者组 (384 .6 2 pg/ ml± 131.2 4 pg/ ml)、无远处转移 NPC患者组血清 VEGF表达水平 (2 32 .81pg/ ml± 78.73pg/ ml)与健康人组 (116 .79pg/ ml± 5 6 .39pg/ ml)比较 ,差异均有显著性 (P<0 .0 5 )。 NPC转移组患者血清 VEGF表达水平与未转移组相比 ,差异有显著性 (P<0 .0 5 )。血清 VEGF表达水平与鼻咽癌 T、N分期和临床分期密切相关 ,VEGF含量随T、N分期升高而逐步升高。 VEGF水平与肿瘤位置、组织学类型及患者性别、年龄等因素无关。结论 鼻咽癌血清VEGF水平与鼻咽癌的浸润、转移密切相关 ,治疗前 NPC患者的血清 VEGF表达水平是反映 NPC侵袭生长及转移潜能的有效生物学指标
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in peripheral blood of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and the clinicopathological features and invasion and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods Sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of VEGF in 80 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma without distant metastasis, 18 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with distant metastasis and 30 healthy controls. Results The level of VEGF expression in the patients with NPC without distant metastasis (384.62 pg / ml ± 131.2 4 pg / ml) was significantly higher than that in patients without distant metastasis (2 32.81 pg / ml ± 78.73 pg / ml) (116.79pg / ml ± 5 6 .39pg / ml), the difference was significant (P <0.05). The serum VEGF expression level in NPC metastasis group was significantly higher than that in non-metastasis group (P <0.05). Serum level of VEGF expression is closely related to T, N staging and clinical stage of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and VEGF content gradually increases with the increase of T, N staging. VEGF levels and tumor location, histological type and patient gender, age and other factors. Conclusion The serum level of VEGF in nasopharyngeal carcinoma is closely related to the infiltration and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The serum level of VEGF in NPC patients before treatment is an effective biological index that reflects the invasion and metastasis potential of NPC
