位居世界第六大国的澳大利亚,是一个经济发达的国家,老年人口约占总人口12%。澳大利亚法律规定,国民退休年龄为:男65岁,女60岁。澳大利亚政府十分重视老年人社会福利,全澳共有养老机构3000余家,有十多万老年人在机构里安享晚年。近几年,按照养老服务发展趋势和老年人的养老意愿,澳联邦政府在养老政策上进行了战略调整,确定了以社区照顾(即居家养老服务)为主的老年人社会福利服务政策。 Australia, the sixth largest country in the world, is a economically developed country with an elderly population of about 12% of the total population.
