研究了化学成分和孕育处理对激冷球铁凸轮轴组织和性能的影响。碳和硅均降低激冷层的深度,但碳能增加激冷层硬度,而硅则相反。高碳低硅能兼顾激冷层硬度和深度。减少孕育剂的加入量可有效地减少凸轮激冷层的石墨,显著提高激冷层的硬度和激冷深度,而轴颈碳化物数量变化不大,能满足康明斯凸轮轴的技术要求。
The effects of chemical composition and inoculation on the microstructure and properties of chilled ductile iron camshafts were studied. Both carbon and silicon reduce the depth of the quench layer, but carbon increases the hardness of the quench layer, whereas silicon is the opposite. High-carbon low-silicon can take into account the chill layer hardness and depth. Reducing the dosage of inoculant can effectively reduce the graphite in the cam chilling layer and significantly increase the hardness and chilling depth of the chilling layer. However, the amount of carbide in the journals does not change much and meets the technical requirements of Cummins camshafts.
