FOX protein is a group of protein families released in 2000 with a unified name, which is a relatively new protein. Due to its important role in the bioinformatics system, it has rapidly become a hot spot in life science research. FOX protein has been found to play an important role in tumor formation, aging, cell proliferation and metabolism, immune regulation and so on. As the most studied subfamily of FOX proteins, FOXO is closely related to tumor formation. This paper focuses on the mechanism of action of FOXO protein involved in chromosomal translocation and its role in tumorigenesis in terms of its phosphorylation, acetylation, subcellular localization, activity regulation of degradation and cell signaling.
