锂是一价阳离子,与钠、钾关系密切。可能是人体必需微量元素。锂不仅在临床上用于治疗精神病,而且对人体健康有较大影响。锂对化疗、放疗等引起的粒细胞减少有促进恢复作用,升白效果明显。锂抑制甲状腺素的合成和释放,导致甲状腺功能低下,引起甲状旁腺功能亢进。锂影响肾浓缩功能,致使水电解质平衡失调。锂还影响糖代谢。锂可能通过细胞内第二信使系统、中枢神经系统、置换或替代钠、钾,影响细胞内、外钠、钾平衡而发挥生物效应。
