The effects of grass belt on the transport of hormones (estradiol-17β) in runoff from poultry litter pastures were affected by the hormones contained in the litter, which negatively affected the health and reproductive capacity of fish or other animals the study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the litter size and the length of the grass belt on the concentration and loss of estradiol-17β in the runoff. The litter was spread to 6 1 at 5 t / hm2 over the upper 24 4 m. 12 2 and 18 3m grass belt, and assumes that the lower edge of grass-free filter belt. For analysis of estradiol-17β, 50 mm / h artificial precipitation was used to generate run-off samples. The results showed that the litter size had little effect on the concentration and loss of hormones in the runoff, with an average of 35μg / L and 1413g / hm2, respectively. However, grass strands with lengths of 6 1, 12 2 and 18 3 m decreased the concentrations of hormones in runoff by 58%, 81% and 94%, respectively, and decreased the contents of 79%, 90% and 98% . These data suggest that grass strands do indeed have the effect of reducing estradiol-17 [beta] content in runoff.
