在《香港社会工作期刊》关于管理主义的特刊中,特朗普曼(Tropman)提到,在人本服务领域,随着期望提高、预算减少和竞争增加,管理主义的地位愈加重要。他认为管理主义即良好的管理。摩根(Morgan)、佩恩(Payne)、奥康纳(O’Connor)和梁(Leung)则持不同观点,他们在同一期刊发表文章,对管理主义持批判或者至少是不同的看法。那么目前管理主义是人本服务问题的解决方法还是导致问题的成因?当我们使用“管理主义”一词时,我们想表达什么?它有什么独有的特征呢?香港理工大学徐明心教授和张超雄博士对此做了简短评论,阐述管理主义的主要特征,并思考其对人本服务的影响。
In the special issue of management journalism in the Hong Kong Journal of Social Work, Tropman mentions that in the area of human services, as expectations rise, budgets and competition increase, the position of managementism becomes even more important. He believes that management is good management. Morgan, Payne, O’Connor, and Leung took a different view. They published articles in the same journal that held a critical or at least different view of management. So at present, whether management is the solution to the issue of human service or the cause of the problem? What we want to express when we use the term “managementism” and what is the unique characteristic of it? Professor Xu Mingxin of Hong Kong Polytechnic University And Dr. Zhang Chaoxiong made a brief comment on this, elaborating the main features of management and thinking about its impact on human services.
