91岁的龙启明已不如9年前初见时那么硬朗,如今白发苍苍,步履蹒跚的他,对于半个多世纪前在“飞虎队”服役的不寻常经历,却记忆犹新。如果没有战争,龙启明不会成为飞行员。龙启明出生在香港一个富裕的家庭。香港沦陷后,本就读于香港政府工学院机电工程专业的他辗转来到内地,偶然报考中国航空委员会留美空军学员并被录取。由于当时战事吃紧,这批学员仅在印度和美国接受了短期培训,就于1943年3月回国投入战斗,龙启明由此开始了驼峰航线2100多小时的飞行经历。驼峰航线最高海拔7000米,沿途山峰起伏连绵。由于中缅公路被日军切断,驼峰航线承担了一切战略物资的运输,为中国战场运送了80万吨战略物资和超过3万人员。在驼峰航线上,中美航空队共损失.563架
91-year-old Long Qiming is not as tough as he first appeared 9 years ago. Today, his gray-haired and hobbled memory remembers the unusual experience of serving in the Flying Tigers over half a century ago . If there is no war, Long Qiming will not be a pilot. Long Qiming was born in a wealthy home in Hong Kong. After the fall of Hong Kong, he enrolled at the Hong Kong Government School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, he was removed to the Mainland, occasionally apply for admission to the Chinese Air Commission Air Force trainees admitted. Owing to the tight fighting at the time, these trainees returned to China in March 1943 for short-term training with only short-term training in India and the United States.
