Comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) is a technique associated with fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), commonly used to determine the type of chromosomal aberrations in human tumors. Recently CGH has been used in cytogenetic analysis of fresh frozen placenta tissue. We now describe cytogenetic diagnosis using CGH in paraffin-embedded placental tissue. In the past 6 years, 12 cases of placental tissue with conventional aneuploidy or aneuploidy were collected, of which 4 were 21-trisomy, 3 18-trisomy, 17-trisomy, 15-trisomy And 13-trisomy in 1 case, 1 case of 21 stained
