读了几个陈亚先的剧本,一个最直接的感觉便是流畅、浅近,虽然并不浅薄。读这样的本子,看这样的戏,可以让人有余地和功夫去体味词章之美,去触摸几个形象的神韵。看新编历史剧,我最怕的是借古鉴今之类。现代人比古代人聪明多了,因为受的磨难,积累的教训和经验不比古人少,何须再借古人来教化一番? 那些借古讽今,不论其如何巧妙曲折,不论其如何呼应今人心声,那也是不足取的。万不得已偶一为之倒也罢了。戏剧所负载的东西还是单纯些为好。不然,‘背起磨盘唱戏,戏不好看,人也吃亏’。民谚就是这么说的。陈亚先的成名作当然是《曹操与杨修》。之后如有新作,人们当拿它与前者作种种比较,这也是很自然的。文野高下,也就各说不一了。《曹操与杨修》我是先看演出实况录像的。戏确实好,我分明认识了陈亚先的功力和趣味。但同时,我也为录像带里所传来的不断的叫好声而有所忧虑。为演员的唱做功夫叫好和唤起观众某种联想的叫好是可以分得清的。我忧虑的是后者。后来,再看录制的发行带,却干净了许多。艺术家要抵御这种诱惑是很需要点勇气和冷峻的。倒不是说观众有意引诱,他们很单纯,很痴迷,很直接,然而艺术家被引
