用电子自旋共振(ESR)方法研究BaF_2微晶和单晶研粉的γ射线辐照损伤及其恢复情况,发现V_k心点缺陷的ESR信号随升温变化不象H,F和M心那样是单调衰减的,γ射线辐照可能会激发F~-离子上的Frendkel激子,该激子受热湮没而产生新的V_k心,因而使V_k心的ESR信号随开温增强,V_t心的朗德因子g也随升温而变化.单晶研粉的辐照损伤在400℃完全恢复,微晶的在355℃完全恢复.
Electron spin resonance (ESR) method was used to study the γ-ray irradiation damage and recovery of BaF_2 crystallites and single crystal powders. It was found that the ESR signal of V_k center defects did not change with increasing temperature unlike H, F and M cores The monotonously decaying, γ-ray irradiation may stimulate the Frendkel exciton on the F ~ - ion, which is annihilated by the heat to create a new V_k center, so that the ESR signal of the V_k center increases with increasing temperature, The factor g also varies with the temperature rise.The irradiation damage of single crystal powder completely restored at 400 ℃ and the crystallite completely recovered at 355 ℃.
