新丰江水库于1959年10月20日开始蓄水,库水水位由原河道37.8米开始迅速上升,约一个月后(此时水位标高为56米),库区出现有感地震。随着水位上升,地震频度及强度日益加剧,于1962年3月19日发生一次震级为6.1级强震。由于库区出现频繁地震与水库蓄水密切相关。研究水库蓄水后引起库基岩体附加应力及位移分布状态,对说明诱发地震是有意义的。本文就水库荷载后产生的附加应力及位移计算结果加以总结,并对它的诱震作用做一初步认识。
Xinfengjiang Reservoir began to store water on October 20, 1959. The water level of the reservoir began to rise rapidly from 37.8 meters of the original river channel. After about one month (at this time, the water level elevation was 56 meters), there was a sense of earthquake in the reservoir area. As the water level rose and the frequency and intensity of earthquakes increased day by day, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake occurred on March 19, 1962. Frequent earthquakes in the reservoir area are closely related to reservoir impoundment. Studying the additional stress and displacement distribution of the reservoir-based rock mass after impounding the reservoir is meaningful to explain the induced earthquake. This paper summarizes the calculation results of additional stresses and displacements caused by the reservoir load and makes a preliminary understanding of the induced effect of the reservoir.
