随着人们生活水平逐年提高,越来越多的人意识到合理膳食的重要性,特别是深圳地处沿海地区,经济比较发达,人民生活总体水平较全国高,但居民文化素质参差不齐,在食物消费中的不平衡性十分突出,营养过剩与营养不良并存的状况有加剧的趋势。一方面,由于膳食不平衡或营养过剩所造成的“富贵病”已开始出现;另一方面,由于食品品种单调或营养不全造成了一部分人的营养不良症。因此,对各种人群开展“膳食指南”营养教育,引导居民合理膳食,克服因膳食结构不合理导致营养不平衡,从而达到降低与营养有关慢性非传染性疾病(如高血压、糖尿病、脑卒中)等发病率,是非常必要及时的。
