2013年12月18日,CCTV-7 2014年创新节目全新改版,《乡约·鹊桥会》与《阳光大道·咱们老家》这两档节目是CCTV-7农业节目2014年“创新改版年”的亮剑之作。在中宣部等五部委发出制止豪华铺张、提倡节俭办晚会的号召下,《乡约·鹊桥会》的乡村相亲真人秀与《阳光大道·咱们老家》的明星乡村寻根之旅,都在农村搭建最简朴的舞台,将节目送到农民家门口,不比阔气比特色,不比排场比内涵,不拼明星用草根,以浓郁的乡土情味和“公益三农”气质凸显出“节俭办电视”的理念。
