目的研究多廿醇对高胆固醇血症患者的降胆固醇作用及其机制。方法将68例原发性高胆固醇血症患者随机分成多廿醇组和对照组,服药4周,于第0周和第4周分别测定血脂和血清丙二醛(MDA)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-PX)、外周血单个核细胞低密度脂蛋白受体(LDL-R)的含量。结果与给药前比较,多廿醇组的血清总胆固醇(TC)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、MDA的含量明显降低,SOD、GSH-Px、LDL-R的活性明显升高;与对照组给药后比较,多廿醇组的血清TC、LDL-C、MDA的含量明显降低,SOD、LDL-R的活性明显升高。结论多廿醇可明显降低高胆固醇患者的胆固醇,增强机体抗过氧化能力;其降低胆固醇的作用机制可能与增加LDL-R的活性有关。
Objective To study the hypocholesterolemic effect of policosanol on hypercholesterolemia and its mechanism. Methods Sixty-eight patients with primary hypercholesterolemia were randomly divided into policosanol group and control group for 4 weeks. Serum lipids, serum malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), and peripheral blood mononuclear cell low density lipoprotein receptor (LDL-R). Results Compared with those before administration, the levels of total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and MDA in the policosanol group were significantly decreased and the activities of SOD, GSH-Px and LDL-R were significantly increased Compared with the control group, the contents of TC, LDL-C and MDA in the policosanol group were significantly decreased, and the activities of SOD and LDL-R were significantly increased. Conclusions Policosanol can significantly reduce cholesterol in patients with hypercholesterolemia and enhance the body’s anti-peroxidation ability; its mechanism of lowering cholesterol may be related to increasing the activity of LDL-R.
