Much attention has recently been paid to the genesis of uranium in Precambrian formations. This article explores the genesis of Proterozoic conglomerates and their associated secondary minerals based on an example of a region. The area lies within the metamorphic fold belt between two high anticlinal elevations. The fold belt is NW-trending and has dual-tectonic bedding. The lower tectonic rocks are Archean and Lower Proterozoic geologic rocks. Archean rocks are composed of gneiss and crystalline schist with different compositions
