I like to watch the BBC or some other geography documentary about nature and humanity. I also like to travel, walk around and experience different styles. These may not have much to do with studying geography, but both the documentary and the travel have cultivated my interest in geography and broadened my horizons. Geography is by no means a book. “Read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles.” In some exploratory documentaries, not only can one appreciate the many amazing geo-physical phenomena in the world, they can also learn rigorous geographical thinking. In the travel, but also learn to analyze some of the geographical phenomena, such as the earthquake in the Little South China Sea
