多年来,冶金、地质系统物相分析工作者,对铁矿石物相分析方法及其在地质勘探和选矿工艺研究中的应用,做了不少试验研究工作,使铁矿石物相分析方法有了较大的改进.在此基础上,1981年4月地质部和冶金工业部共同颁发的《铁矿地质勘探规范》(试行)中规定,“铁矿基本分析项目主要做全铁(TFe)分析,取消过去分析可溶铁(SFe)的要求.”“采用物相分析确定的磁性铁(MFe)对全铁(TFe)的占有率作为划分矿石类型的依据.”为此,本规范规定“针对不同矿床、不同矿石类型的含铁矿物共生组合特征,选用合理的物相分析方法.
