The beginning of the continental collision and the beginning of the peripheral foreland basin are caused by the deformation and bending of the passive edge of the succession of the foreland blocks, respectively. During the gradual convergence of the plate, the peripheral foreland basin develops from the underfilled flysch to the filling or overfilling Stone stage. In general, the conversion of this flysch to molasse is interpreted as the migration of thrusting wedges and foreland basins past the inherited passive-margin hublines. The study shows that during the development of the foreland basin in the North Alps, the succession of the paleo-deep water area and the subduction of the European passive edge lithosphere strength changes in the flysch from the flysch are not played a major role. During the dolomitic dolomitic period, sediments provided by the Alps increased by at least 30%. At the same time that the flysch was changed to molasse (mid-Oligocene), the orogenic belt underwent accelerated exhumation, the uplifting of the high-pressure metamorphic rocks, the melting of the lower lithosphere and the beginning of the main thrust- All of these can be linked through the plate to disconnect the model. A further consequence of the model is that the equilibrium surface is uplifted and eroded. The paper suggests that plate tectonics may be in response to an increase in sediment supply resulting in the conversion of flysch to malachite in the Northern Alps foreland basin and provide an acceptable passive edge model.
