升麻又称周麻、绿升麻,为毛茛科植物升麻的根状茎。同科植物兴安升麻及三叶升麻(关升麻)亦载入《药典》,作为正品使用。其每年春秋季节采挖,除去地上茎苗和泥土,晒至须根全干时用火燎或用竹筐撞去须根,晾干即可入药。其性凉,味甘辛微苦,入肺、脾、胃经,具有升阳、发表、透疹和解毒的功效,常用于治疗时气疫
Cimicifuga also known as Zhouma, green cohosh, is a rhizome of Ranunculaceae plant Cimicifuga. The same family of plants Xingan Cimicifuga and Cimicifuga (Gracilaria) are also included in the Pharmacopoeia and used as authentic products.
