高恬波,广东省第一个女共产党员,1898年出生,广东省惠阳县人,1924年春参加中国共产党。五四时期,她是学生中反帝爱国斗争的先锋;大革命时期,她参与农运、工运、妇运的领导,又是战地救护队的队长;大革命失败后,她转入地下,做党的工作;1929年在江西南昌被国民党反动派杀害,时年31岁。她牺牲后,人们怀念她,称她为女领袖、女将军,南粤的红棉树…… Gao Tianbo, the first female Communist member in Guangdong Province, was born in 1898 in Huiyang County, Guangdong Province. In the spring of 1924, he joined the Communist Party of China. During the May 4th Movement, she was the vanguard of the anti-imperialist patriotic struggle among the students. During the Great Revolution, she was involved in the leadership of the Peasant Movement, Workers’ Movement and Women’s Movement and was the captain of the Field Ambulance Corps. After the failure of the Great Revolution, she went underground and became the party 1929 was killed by KMT reactionaries in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, at the age of 31. After her sacrifice, people miss her, calling her a female leader, a female general, and a cotton tree in southern Guangdong.
