扎瓦拉金矿为中咱微地块扎瓦拉岩体边缘近期新发现的矿产地,根据矿区成矿地质背景、地球化学特征、矿体特征及控矿因素,金矿体主要赋存于岩体外接触带二叠系~三叠系下统碳酸岩地层中近南北向压扭性断裂带,硅化、碳酸盐化等中低温热液蚀变较强,初步认为金的主导成矿类型为中低温构造热液蚀变岩型。由此,建立扎瓦拉地区金矿的地质、地球化学找矿模型。
