Objective To identify and analyze the occupational hazards and the degree of harm to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving station project, and to explore the key control positions and positions of the occupational hazards of such projects and provide the basis for the prevention and control of occupational diseases in such projects. Methods Investigate and analyze the occupational hazards of such projects by means of on-the-spot investigation and detection of occupational hazards. Results The occupational hazards of such projects include welding fumes, hydrogen sulfide, methane, benzene, toluene, xylene, hexane, manganese and their compounds, ozone, noise, low temperature LNG, power frequency electric field, UV radiation and high temperature weather Wait. The employer has set up occupational disease protection facilities in workplaces that produce occupational hazards and equipped working workers with the necessary personal protective equipment and formulated various occupational health management systems. Among occupational health test results of all occupational hazards, all the test results are in line with occupational exposure limits except that the noise in workplaces of A and B receiving stations exceeds 5.5 ~ 10.6 dB (A) and 6.7 ~ 14.3 dB (A), respectively. Request. Conclusion The main occupational hazards of LNG receiving station project are noise operation and high-temperature weather operation, and should be given priority control. Employers should strengthen occupational health management, occupational disease protection and occupational health monitoring, to ensure the occupational health of workers.
