马铃薯易感染多种病毒而造成种薯退化,使产量大幅度下降,失去种用价值,严重影响了生产的发展。为解决这一难题,山东省农科院蔬菜所的科技人员经过多年研究,成功地利用组培技术快速微繁,结合血清学检测,对适合于山东省栽培的优良马铃薯品种,进行了脱毒小薯的工厂化大规模生产。5年来,已在省内外累计推广无毒种薯101.3万亩,比一般种薯平均每亩增产500~800公斤,累计纯增经济效益2.02亿元。充分显示了生物技术在农业生产中实际应用的诱人前景和产生的巨大经济效益。
