September 12 this year is the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Golden Gate Agreement. On September 12, 1990, I joined Kinmen as the vice chairman of the Fuzhou Red Cross Society. Both sides reached an agreement on repatriation of private smugglers on behalf of the Red Cross Organization. This is the first association signed by the two sides after 1949
